Day 4: Gobustan- Full Day Excursion to Gobu
Today we will depart to Gobastan (The Region of Gobu) that is known for its archeological monuments. We will drive Southwest of Baku along the Caspian shore to the volcanic desert where rocks are covered with carvings, standing amidst the scattered stones and mountains. There are more than 6000 carvings that were carved by the artists of that Paleolithic period. Overnight stay at hotel in Baku.

Day 5: Baku – Flight out
After this wonderful tour of Baku we will be transferred to Baku airport for flight back home. End of our services.

We’ll visit the walled city of Baku with the Shirvanshah’s Palace and Maiden Tower, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Inner City (Icheri Sheher) has preserved much of its 12th century defensive walls. The 12th century Maiden Tower (Giz Galasy – one of the pearls of Azerbaijan’s architecture), then we will visit Juma Mosque and the Carpet Museum. Afterwards, we will walk in Naberezhny Park and along Baku Boulevard and on Boulevard we will take a boat ride along Baku Bay. Overnight stay at hotel in Baku.

Day 03: Baku – Absheron Peninsula – Baku
We will leave for full day excursion to Absheron Peninsula. Over there we will visit Ateshgah, the Fire Worshippers’ Temple which is located in the village of Surakhany, built on the land where natural gas burned eternally and worshipped by Zoroastrians who used to travel from the province of Multan in India to visit this sacred place. We will also visit the ancient castles of Absheron Peninsula dated 12th-13th c.c. Overnight stay at hotel in Baku.

Day 04: Baku – Gabala
Today we will depart for Qabala (Gabala) – en route visit Jumma Mosque in Shamakhi (old and historical). Gabala is a famous summer tourist resort and also visit Lahij village that is well known place for traditional handicrafts of Azerbaijan . On arrival transfer to hotel and check in. Day 05: Gabala
This will be full day to explore Gabala region by visiting Nohur Lake, visit of Gabaland (funland park) and then chair lift ride to view Gabala city. Overnight stay at hotel in Gabala.

Day 06: Gabala – Sheki
After breakfast we will leave for Sheki, one of the most famous and ancient places of Azerbaijan and known as silk center. In Sheki we will visit the 18th century Khan’s summer palace with magnificent frescos and exquisite stained glass work, and then also visit Sheki History museum and the Albanian church located in Kish village. Day 07: Sheki – Telavi – Sighnaghi
Today we will leave for Telavi and Sighnaghi, the main cities of eastern province of Georgia. At Tsinandali we will visit Palace of Al. Chavchavadze, famous Georgian poet and then visit Telavi State Historical and Ethnographical Museum and Palace of the King Erekle; Shuamta monastery complexes. Afterwards we will drive to Sighnaghi, up on arrival transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight stay at hotel in Sighnaghi.

Day 08: Tbilisi
After breakfast we will go for city sightseeing tour of Tbilisi by visiting Trinity Cathedral (the second Millennium), Metekhi Church (XIII century), Old Tbilisi, Sulphur Baths, Narikala Fortress (V-IV centuries), Sioni (XIII c.) and Anchiskhati churches (VI century). Also walk on Shardeni and Leselidze streets and Rustaveli Avenue to touch the life spirit of Georgia. Overnight stay at hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 09: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gudauri
Today we will depart for Mtskheta,the capital of the Georgian Kingdom of Iberia during the 3rd century BC – 5th century AD. Here we will see Jvari Monastery (6th c.) and then to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Afterwards we will leave for Gudauri, on arrival transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight stay at hotel in Gudauri.

Day 10: Gudauri – Kazbezi – Gudauri
This will be jeep jeep excursion (4×4) for Kazbegi, a village of Sno Valley in the north of Georgia, popular for the trekking opportunities in the spectacular surrounding mountains with views of the mighty Mount Kazbeg, and enjoy the beautiful view from the town of the Holy Trinity Church outlined against Mount Kazbeg. Day 11: Gudauri – Gori – Kutaisi
After breakfast we will drive for Kutaisi. En route, we will visit Samtavisi (Georgian orthodox cathedral) and also visit the museum of Joseph Stalin (birth place of Stalin) in Gori. Later on, we will visit Uplistsikhe, “the lord’s fortress”, which is an ancient rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia (built on bank of Mtkvari River). Overnight stay at hotel in Kutaisi.

Day 12: Kutaisi – Akhaltsikhe
Today after breakfast, we will visit historical sites of Kutaisi, such as the 12th century Gelati Cathedral (one of the earliest academies in Europe) and the splendid 11th century Bagrati Cathedral. Both cathedrals are UNESCO World heritage listed sites. Overnight stay at hotel in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 13: Akhaltsikhe – Tbilisi
After breakfast we will depart for Vardzia (in Georgia), stopping en route to visit the Khertvisi Fortress (1100 AD). Stretching over half a kilometre along the Mtkvari River and consisting of 19 tiers, the magnificent 12th century cave town of Vardzia will be one of the most interesting parts of tour. Day 14: Tbilisi – Flight out

Today we will go for full day excursion to explore Jvari monastery, is a Georgian orthodox monastery of the 6th century near Mtskheta (UNESCO Heritage site). The name is translated as the Monastery of the Cross. Jvari Monastery stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia.

Day 05: Tbilisi – Telavi
Today we will depart for Telavi, en route we visit a wine producing factory of Kakheti region with an opportunity to taste it. We will continue drive to Telavi and visit residence of the King Erekle the II and then Tsinandali Wine cellar and Al. Chavchavadze house museum. Afterwards we will visit Gremi Monastery (the royal citadel, 16 century AD). Later on we will drive to Nekresi Monastery complex. We will take dinner out in a traditional restaurant of Telavi. Day 06: Telavi – Gurjaani – Sighnaghi – Sheki
After breakfast we will depart for Sheki (Azerbaijan), en route at Gurjaani we visit a wine cellar and all Saints Church that is the only two domed church in Georgia. We will continue drive to Sighnaghi and visit Bodbe monastery of Saint Nino. After immigration formalities at Lagodekhi Pass (Georgian – Azerbaijani border) we will continue to Sheki (an ancient place of Azerbaijan). Over here we will visit the palace of Sheki Khan and Sheki History Museum. Overnight stay in hotel at Sheki.

Day 07: Sheki – Gabala
Today we will visit Sheki Khan’s Palace and Kish Albanian Church and then proceed to Gabala city, on arriavel transfer to hotel and check in. Later on we will go for Gabala Chairlift tour and then visit Nohur Lake. Overnight stay in hotel at Gabala.

Day 08: Gabala – Lahij – Shemakha – Baku
Today we will depart for Baku, en route we visit Lahij to see ancient crafts. We will also visit Shemakha (Diri Baba tomb and Yeddi Gumbez). Day 09: Baku – Absheron Peninsula Gobustan – Baku
This is full day excursion to Gobastan (The Region of Gobu) that is known for its archeological monuments. We will drive Southwest of Baku along the Caspian shore to the volcanic desert where rocks are covered with carvings, standing amidst the scattered stones and mountains. There are more than 6000 carvings that were carved by the artists of that Paleolithic period. Overnight stay at hotel in Baku.

Day 10: Baku – Sareyn (Iran)
Today we will depart for Sareyn via Heyran and after passing the border we reach Ardebil where we visit Sheikh Safi-Uddin Ardebili mausoleum complex with a dome of Allah Allah. Then we will visit the traditional bazaar of Ardabil and then we continue drive to the lake Shurabil. Afterwards we proceed to Sareyn (a mountain resort surrounded with beautiful landscapes). Overnight stay in hotel at Sareyn.

Day 11: Sareyn – De Resht – Ramsar
After breakfast we will depart for Ramsar, en route visit the village of Rasht Masule (yellow clay buildings), this millennial village resembles an anthropological and architectural museum. Afterwards we will drive to Ramsar and on arrival we go for sightseeing tour of Ramsar. Overnight stay in hotel at Ramsar.

Day 12: Ramsar – Kazvin – Tehran
Today we depart for Tehran, en route we take city tour of Qazvin (once the capital of Iran) by visiting Qazvin-mosque Jama, Shrine of Hussein Shahrezy, the theological school Heidari, the Darby Kushka (the old entrance gate of the city), Ali Gapu (Chehel Setun Qazvin). We will continue driving with a stop to magnificent view of the Dam Karaca. Then we will continue to Tehran, on arrival transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight stay in hotel at Tehran.

Day 13: Tehran
Our sightseeing tour of Tehran will start by visiting Nature Bridge and Azadi Tower, Golestan palace complex, the UNESCO world heritage site. We will also visit Tehran Grand Bazaar and National Museum. We will continue visit with a walk in National Garden and “Si Tir” street and then National Jewelry Museum and then back to hotel. Day 14: Tehran – Flight Out

Day 1: Arrival Baku

Day 2: Baku – Lahij – Kish – Sheki
Today we will depart for Sheki, en route visit Diri Baba Mausoleum at Maraza, historical Juma Mosque at Shemakha, Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum, and the Shirvan Shah’s family grave yard. We will continue to Lahij (ancient village, 5 AC) famous for its medieval water supply and sewerage systems, also famous for traditional jewelry, carpets, copperware, pottery, iron tools, and daggers etc. At Kish we will visit the first Albanian church in Caucasus region (1st AD). Day 3: Sheki – Kvareli – Gremi – Telavi

Here in Georgia we will en route stop at Winery Khareba located in the tunnel originally built for military purposes but now being used to store Kakheti’s finest wines – opportunity to taste wine. Day 5: Tbilisi
After breakfast we will go for city sightseeing tour of Tbilisi by visiting Trinity Cathedral (the second Millennium), Metekhi Church (XIII century), Old Tbilisi, Sulphur Baths, Narikala Fortress (V-IV centuries), Sioni (XIII c.) and Anchiskhati churches (VI century).
